Is there really a Bite Me Live Bait company? The answer is yes. We sell fresh, frozen mackerel, poagies, and squid all excellent bait for catching striped bass and bluefish in the waters of Narragansett Bay and off-shore Rhode Island. Besides Selling bait and our t-shirts, we thought it was important to remember the heritage of the New England fisherman of a bygone era. The people that worked the waterfront years ago provided true character and a never ending sense of humor to Newport. We have designed and created a small line of products that have this sense of character in the hopes of preserving some of the rich heritage that makes Newport so special.
